Politics, the news, senseless deaths... got me feelin' pretty helpless recently. I wrote Can't Hold Me Down as a piece of motivation for those who are feelin' down and struggling in their lives.
I saw a live performance video of Tash Neal (from The London Souls) playing and knew instantly we had to work together. I wrote the demo and sent it his way. What I got back was magic. Tash is perfect on this tune.
Don't curse the darkness, be a light. Be the force that pushes others to keep their heads high and stay inspired. Stand up for what you believe in at all costs. Never give up on people.

David Starkey, one of the world's leading television historians and authors talks to BookD minutes before his introductory launch and talk about his app 'Kings and Queens' which was given on the final day at this year's London Book Fair.
David discusses the idea of modern technology and how innovative thinking in publishing changes the role of the author entirely especially when regarding his particular writing ethic. In his own words when describing this app "it actually shows in a very clear way, the chronology of history in a very simple timeline".
Students who haven't studied history chronologically will love this, as will the passionate folk for such a vast subject as it contextualises what you want to know.
It marks a new era for historical detail which isn't in the shape of a book for the shelf, a folder full of notes or a drab lecture series given by stiffs in tweed.
A mother and her young son believe that they are safe living in a remote, walled farmhouse, but it’s only a matter of time before the dark forces outside come for them.
Skulk is a 10-minute radio play that was performed and recorded live at the opening night of the 2013 London Horror Festival.

When ToE's special corespondent Chris told me about Russian Gay Bashing Drones onstage during my performance in London I was certain he was once again putting me on - or this was Satire. I forgot that in 2017 anything is possible - except Satire!
