SH 001 : A new adventure with Peter Awad. The story behind Slow Hustle.

An then seeing that in myself. Who the podcast is for: Entrepreneurs, Small business owners, Salespeople, Homemakers, etc. The topics I’ll cover and problems we’ll solve together Slowness: Tips, tricks, tools and processes to help achieve slowness Hustle: Ways to achieve maximum output and be seemingly superhuman The combination of the two (most important): How to maintain hustle and slowness. Plus, dealing with manic behavior. The format of the episodes: Some will be tips, tricks, tools and processes that I have used and found helpful in managing slow hustle. Many of them will be interviews with prominent entrepreneurs that I feel very fortunate to be able to interview. They will get to share their story and journey and what they do to manage slowness, hustle or both (some may be diehard on slowness, some on hustle and some the combination) What I need from you in order to make this show a success Submit your questions, topic requests and feedback. 7. #158: Peter Awad–Learning the Power of a Slow Hustle, for Maximum Performance

#158: Peter Awad–Learning the Power of a Slow Hustle, for Maximum Performance

www.success101podcast.com/158 Business is hard. It’s fun, exciting, crazy and also stressful, depressing, debilitating. It’s the ultimate of roller coasters. After talking with dozens and dozens of entrepreneurs, Peter Awad realized he was not the only one feeling these extreme emotions. They are actually universal and seemingly part of the entrepreneur’s handbook (which doesn’t exist). The art of the “Slow Hustle” is not just something that comes your way overnight, or something you can master immediately. However, it is a choice; a choice that can change your life and career forever. Deciding firmly that you really can still “hustle”, and at the same time, slow down, is an incredibly empowering mindset to hard-wire into your busy life. Peter teaches us the points to consider when implementing this mindset, and how we can get on track to a better life, much faster. This album is a three volume set which includes selections from most hymns and some spiritual songs of Holy Week as it is celebrated in the Coptic Orthodox Church. The album offers the listener a journey through Holy Week as each track explores an event in Christ's Passion through the musical prism of the Coptic Church. For the first time we offer an album in all three languages (Coptic, English and Arabic) to be enjoyed by families and peoples of all backgrounds. This album is also one of the first to include hymns in English accompanied with music. It also includes rare spiritual songs and many melismatic hymns in Coptic never before performed with music. Unlike much of what one hears on the radio, the slower hymns allow for contemplation in stillness in contrast with the fast pace of modern living. This record provides the listener with the opportunity to enjoy a different perspective in hymnology from an ancient heritage. Chorus Members: Philip Awad, Mina Ghattas, Peter Ibrahim, Mike Morkos, Ronnie Nobar, Safwat Tadros. Sound Engineering and Production by: Tim Neuhaus. Album Artwork by: Tony Rezk and Marwan Maher. Music by: Peter Ibrahim. Recorded at: Earart Studios in Delta, BC, Canada.

20. Lord at Rest - English Bright Saturday Communion Melody

Lord at Rest - English Bright Saturday Communion Melody

This melody is found in Upper Egypt, specifically in Moharraq Monastery, the church of St. John of Heraclia and in Assiut. The cantors that preserved this song were Cantor Tawfik Youssef, Cantor Habib Hennawy and Cantor Fayez of Assiut.. In Arabic its title is "Ah ya nayem". It is to be chanted liturgically during communion on Bright Saturday AFTER Banoudi Banoudi (Panouti Panouti). Refrain: Lord at rest, | Lord at rest, | Lord at rest, | in the tomb. Are you living, | or dead? | "I live | forever." 1) On the day of | your crucifixion, | you were silent | and still. Rise quickly, | O beloved. | Scoffers claim that | you’ve been killed.  2) Hearts afflicted | wait for you. | Those who mourn | call out to you. We have no other | comforter. | There is no other | king but you. 3) David the prophet, | concerning me, | said my body | will not decay. Rest assured, then, | that my body | is not abandoned, | left to lay. 4) Lazarus, come | forth untied; | see the tomb of | mystery. Jesus Christ, | who gave you life, | was crucified | on the tree. 5) I am living. | I am coming | to take those | who believe To my throne, | to my glory, | to my kingdom, | eternally. 6) I will wipe | every tear | from the eyes | of my sheep. I will gird myself | and serve you, | O my children, | with victory. 7) Our souls yearn | for you deeply, | O dormant one in | the sepulcher. Will you rise | and return, | or from us | have you turned? 8) I have finished | my saving work, | as was written | in the scriptures. Your redemption | was not completed | till I bore death | and suffered. 9) Cast away | all fear, | and remove |all worry. I've defeated | my enemies. | I will rise and | set you free. 10) He whose hands were | pierced has risen. | Risen is the | King of Peace. Putting to shame the | adversary. | Truly risen, | King of Glory. I would like to thank all those that helped with the translation and production of this melody. Jimmy Awad, Sammy Girgis, Mina Makar, Anthony Doss, Peter Mansour and Sandra Shaker, Joseph and Daniel Bibawy, Benjamin Youssef, Andrew Wassef and George and Kyrillos Ibrahim. There will be another track released in a few months as a chorus with these beloved brothers/sisters. This recording is being released now so that the translation can be made available to everyone who would like to use it along with a source for listening.
