Check out our blog! http://noonereadsyourblog.blogspot.com/ and a Podcast!: http://jwu.podbean.com/. Some time in the 80’s a strange alien laid its eggs in young Jon James (aka AV Bear)’s brain. That alien is Weird Al Yankovic. Being involved in several bands throughout the 80’s and 90’s, AV Bear’s love of music was ignited and later he began to build Shedd Studio in his backyard. One time, after being inspired by Joe Funk’s inability to remember a staff worker’s name, Jon wrote My Name is Joe. He submitted it to Grand Junction’s local music compilation “Out & About” under the moniker “Jake Wilkinson’s Unicycle” after Canyon View Vineyard Church’s middles school pastor Jake Wilkinson who always kept a unicycle on hand. After having an office near Charity Daisy Mae Bodeen he began to invite her and her husband, Brian Skeeter Bodeen to participate in a project to make fun of co-worker Harmony Ward. These recording sessions became pregnant with, and through C-section gave birth to JWU’s first CD “Harmony Ward’s Comet of Doom”. Harmony was so enthralled with the great omage to her that she forced herself to become the bands muse and musical prognosticator. Some time around its release, Yosh began to work in the same office and was invited to found the band too. Somewhere along the line Jeff Vader got roped into all this mess. After several painful months and bouts with typhoid fever and rabies, the band recorded “The Most Awesomest Band”. Their 3rd studio album “Hits From the Future” was born summer of 2008 and due to its size, had complications. During this time Featuring Enchilada McKenzie joined the band as did Bina Baby. -Yosh 6-28-07 (revised 7-21-08) PS This is an unauthorized biography.
